Hi All;
We are applying for the in-land spousal sponsorship and my spouse got his police check done in South Korea 1 week before he departed to Canada. We are a bit confused about the issue date on it. Will it be a problem that he got it a week before he entered Canada (meaning does it have to be requested from Korea after he departed Korea) or is this ok? It seems to be a lot more difficult to obtain the report once you are outside Korea, so it made sense to get it while he was still there. Also, the form he got was in black and white, although it was the official form given by the Korean Authorities in person, I heard some cic reps may not view this as an "original copy"? If anyone can advise it would be greatly appreciated! Cheers.
