Hello Guys,

I am an Indian living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Having real tough time getting PCC from Spain (lived for 2 years in Spain).

Please correct my understanding on the below steps: (based on my understanding of CIC + Ministry of Justice, Spain)

1. Certified/verified Photo copy of Passport (only) --> but where can i get the photo copy certified?? Is this similar to getting it notarized??

2. Fill 790 form

3. pay 3.74 euros via Bank Transfer --> collect the paid receipt

4. all the above 3 forms to be sent to Madrid address.

5. After PCC is done and getting the apostille from Ministry of Justice - Spain, we get back PCC hardcopy or via email from them??

6. Can i use this service for translation to English - "https://taontario.ca/translation/8/" of PCC and will i need to translate the apostille too??

Please help me through this process.

Thanks a lot.

I got my translations from https://3ade.in/

They are registered agency and cheap as well.

Just a suggestion.

Hi,
Has anyone stayed in Spain in last 10 years and received PCC/ criminal record certificate from Spain. ? I need to know that I receive one- but as per CIC website this should be legalised. Can some one tell me the meaning of legalisation as does it says about Apostile, but Canada is not under Hague convection - so that may not work.
Can some one let me know what to do for legalisation, and if some one also know authorised Translator as i need to convert this from spanish to english . Please suggest as this is urgent . Thanks

Hi,
I know it is an old thread but just trying out if you are still reachable here.
Could you please help me with some inpute? I am trying to get a PCC from spain as well

Thank you for sharing the link.
I have taken from the information from the link before but I have a lot of doubts regarding the actual process.
E.g. Do they send an acknowledgement after receiving the documents
Is the PCC provided digitally or physically
If physically, should a return envelop be sent along with the documents or should a courier fees be sent
Where can the updates tracking be done

It would be a really big help if someone could walk me through the details

Hello mr.preetsingh,

It would be great if you provide the information regarding how and where to mail the application for pcc. As mailing addresses are different on different website.
Thanks,
PCC??? PCC is issued by the local Embassy or Passport office
