Police Clearance Certificate from India for NRI's in Dubai

Hi All,

I am an Indian Citizen currently residing in Dubai for the past 2 years. Can somebody guide me about the process in getting the police clearance certificate of India from Dubai?

You can apply through BLS international.

I am travelling to my home country soon, on a vacation. Is there a way to get the PCC from India? or should i do it from dubai itself?

Also, has anybody taken PCC through BLS International? I would like to know how many days will it take approximately? Also, will they ask me to leave my original passport with them during the process?

I took it from the BLS opposite to diera city center... They stamp the documents and hand it over to you , you have to go and get it signed from the consulate and get the documents back and hand it over to them.. It would take around 5 workiñg days...

@pavan23 So your passport was not with you for only just 5 days? I am bit concerned as i have my travel planned in another 14 days.

Yes it was with them .
If you want to be safe you can get it once you return from India..
Did you receive your ITA ?

Yes I received ITA 2 weeks back.

Ok get it done in dubai , it's easy and hassle free... Just go early to the BLS center so that you will have time to get the signature from the consulate...

Can you tell me how long it took to get ur PCC? I'm also in similar situations...I gave my passport and we are traveling in 11 days... Did u get urs in 5 working days?
