Police Clearance Certificate from Beijing, China

Hi guys,

I am trying to get my PCC done from Beijing, China where I lived in the past for the duration of 6 months. I entered China with 3 months visa which I got from Chinese embassy in Mumbai, India. Later while I was living in that country I extended my visa for another 3 months duration.

The HR of the company where I worked connected me to an agent who provides services for PCC. Upon discussion with that agent he told me that he can only provide me PCC for my second visa which I got while staying in China and he can not provide me PCC for my first visa which I got from Chinese embassy in Mumbai. I also checked with 2 more companies who provide similar services and they all say the same thing that they can not get PCC for the visa that I got from Chinese embassy in India.

Does anyone know how to get PCC from China for the entire duration or is there any other way to submit PR documents in case some record is missing from PCC documents.

Hi Shilpesh,

According to the new rule which came into force in Dec 2019, Beiing Police can only issue PCC for years after 2000 and the applicant has to have 6-month registration.
So the agency which mentioned that you can only get PCC for your last 3 months is totally wrong, and that agency is out of this business for too long time to know the new rules.
Please check www.beijingesc.com for your Beijing PCC, as long as your registration satisfy the new rules.
