Police clearance certificate for Spouse

Dear All,
I am to submit supporting documents to London Embassy after my acceptance of application at canada CIO.
I want to apply for both me and my wife. I want to ask do I need to submit Police clearance certificate for my wife as well besides my own, or not??? As it is not mentioned in any documents by CIC.

Please guide me

If u have filed for ur spouse then it is a mandatory requirement.

Yes of course. Refer to page 19 on EG7 which reads;

"You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:

• a valid police certificate, or • a police clearance, or • a record of no information. "
