Police clearance certificate for Indian Residents in UAE

Please share information about this

The Indian police clearance! No one here had shared anything black and white about it here! How many days it took for you guys to get it if you are Indians living in middle-east?

I went and applied on the same day I received ITA. I thought I am on time. It was only after going there I was taken aback, for they told me they have absolutely no idea when I will be able to get it!! And the slip given to track reads in bold letters "Delivery Date: MINIMUM FORTY WORKING DAYS FROM DATE OF SUBMISSION"

Minimum 40 working days is 60 calendar days!

In the worst case scenario if I cant get it before 60 days what can I do? I have to plead CIC, I know, but there must be a better effective way of letting CIC know the issue at hand so that they might consider an extension or something.

Friends who know more about this or been here yourself kindly shed some light please.,

I think I can help you here. I recently applied for a UAE PCC (Certificate of Good Conduct) from the U.A.E. Please note I am currently not in the UAE and had to send all documents to a friend there. That said, the processing was 3 days. I got a friend to submit the fees and the finger prints and 3 days later I got the PCC.

Where are you located and how did you apply?

I got UAE PCC in 30 days, applied from India only with an agent. PM me your number, will share details.

You have not mentioned where you went to get it. Indian Consulate?

apply in indian consulate, where you r now either uae or canada no matter they will not take more than 10 days they write min 30 to 40 and when you apply they will provide you a receipt submit this receipt to gic account if it take more than that you are able to submit even after sixty days

Hi,
Generally it will take only five working days. Here is how I did it. Got UAE PCC. Went to Indian consulate and got their permission. Went to BLS with the permission slip. Paid the fee (around 140aed). They gave me a slip stating that PCC will be issued in five working days. And I got it on 5th working day.
The key is getting prior permission from the consulate, I guess. If you are giving that to an agency, it may take more time.

Could any of the recent applicants please advice the present timelines for an Indian staying in UAE to receive a PCC from India through BLS. Option of getting pre clearance doesnt seem to be available /not advised by BLS anymore.

BLS has confirmed that they need 40 working days even today.
