Police Clearance Certificate Federal Skilled-Express Entry

Hello,

I am currently residing in USA since 2012-and have resided in Canada for three years prior to that-and was in my home country prior to residing in Canada. Please confirm how many pcc I need to submit for federal skilled worker? I did collect a pcc back in 2009 from my home country-will that still work or do I need to get a new one?

You need a police certificate for any country for which you have stayed for more than 6 months (cumulative) since the age of 18 (Canada is the exception).

Thanks for the response. Appreciate. Can you please answer my second question. My home country issued pcc for me in 2009. Can i submit that pcc now or do I need to get a new pcc from my home country again?

Valid as long as it was issued AFTER the last time you lived in that country. If that's not the case or if you've visited your home country after the issuance of this pcc you need a new one.

Thanks again. Need a bit more clarification. By visit do you mean "stay for any specific number of months" I did visit my country after 2009 but didn't stay there for more than two months. Do I still need to get a new one?
