Hi
I have a CRS of 466 and I am hoping to get invited in the next draw .
My query is that is it possible for me to apply for Police Clearance Certificate and Medical before i even get an invitation to apply. My work permit in Canada is expiring in January 2017 , hence i need to expedite as much as possible .

Any opinion on the same is appreciated . Thanks

1) I can fix an appointment with the doctor for medicals even though i have not received an ITA (But, I have express entry profile number ).

2) I can apply for Police Clearance even though i have not received an ITA (But, I have express entry profile number ).

Hi

I did some research and found that i can apply for Police Clearance as the CIC website clearly mentions

"Police certificates

You will need to get police certificates for you and each of your family members who are over 18. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more consecutive months since the age of 18.

In some countries, it can take a long time to get police certificates. If you did not start the process to get them before you were invited to apply, you should do this right away, so you can submit them before the 60 days are up."

For medicals , I did some research on Canada Visa forum and Found that upfront examinations are possible , but some say they get into some issues. So no concrete answer yet, I will keep other forum members posted in case i find a valid reply. Meanwhile , if someone gets any information , please share .

Thanks

You can get upfront medicals. Go ahead and do so.

Hi there..

Usually for medicals they request to view the ITA... Plus they send the results based on your EE Profile number/Application number and/or OCI number... Plus other thing to keep in mind is that your "Enter Canada by" date in your PP Visa stamp is based on your medical Examination date.. which is valid for a year. I know you reside in canada.. this is in benefit of others.. :D

On the Police certificate; as you had mentioned, collect all the PCC for the places you have stayed for 6 months at a stretch after you have turned 18.. if you are more than 28 yrs old then for the past 10 yrs..
