Police Clearance and Certificate

Hello all ,
Could anyone help me with following:
I lived in india for 10 years and I am not there anymore .
As a non-indian , is it possible I get police Clearance and Certifiate from the indian embassy?

Greatly appreciate any advice.

Which country are you in.Yes you can send your passport and clearance request with fees to the local embassy.
If in US,it would take upto 8 weeks to receive clearance

Sorry..you said Non-Indian?..I guess you can still check with Indian Embassy

Many thanks for your advice ... yes I am non-indian and right now I am living in Syria.
I will check it with indian embassy ... and if they don't ... wish me luck !
