If the principal applicant lived in Canada for 2 years prior to applying for PR but will reside in home country for duration of PR process, does a police certificate need to be provided just for home country or for Canada as well?

Hi,

The police certificate is for every place an applicant has lived for 6 months or more after reaching 18 years old.

No need to worry about a Canadian PCC. CIC will either do their own check, or may ask for one at a later date (as some here have reported).
