Police Certificates

If you leave Canada after applying for PR, and go back to another country, that you have not lived in before
do you need to submit police certificates for that country? I applied for PR, left Canada and am now in Pakistan
My application is still in progress, but i have been here now for a year
OR do you only need police certficates for countries you lived in before you applied?

I would say you would need PCC from countries before you applied.

Did you update your current location to CIC?

Yes I did just recently. I also got my medical request now and will do them in my home country.. but how will the Doctor know to mail them to CIC and not the CDN Embassy in my country?

1) Do I need to mail my police clearance certificate for a country I have resided after applying for my immigration? I would suggest you wait for an email from them, If they have not requested it, It is not required then. If they require it, They will email you and let you know to provide a police clearance certificate from Pakistan.

2) How will the doctor know if to mail them to Ottawa or send them to Canadian Embassy in Pakistan? They don't, All medicals are sent to New Delhi, India and then uploaded onto a mainframe there. The VO (visa officer) then pulls out these reports online. Once Medicals are done, Just email them after 2 weeks to acknowledge receipt of medicals, They will know what to do. If they mail back saying no medicals? Tell them you got it done in pakistan and then they will know what to do.

I would just keep the pakistani police certificate handy. If the email comes, shoot it off to them.

Your'e Timeline seems good, Last hurdle for you. Do not complicate thing but sending them documents they have not asked for but instead keep them handy in-case they do.

Order gcms notes after a month to see an update on your file, Will give you another insight on what the VO is looking for.
