What are the chances they'll be required in the initial application?

I've only just sent off my FBI request now so, if they are required, there's no way I'm going to get my application in before the caps are met!

Ur application will be returned without PCC

But we don't need the PCC on May 4, do we?

That's what I'd like to know.

Apparently they've never been required in previous FSWP checklists. I'll be very sad if they're required this time around...

Senior folks, can you guys comment?

coolguy2010...i would suggest you to do your research instead of putting ur own ideas....it is clearly mentioned by cic here-->http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp

Note. We strongly recommend that you submit your police certificates with your application to the CIO. If you are unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you may still send your application to the CIO without them. However, please note that if your application is placed into processing you must be ready to submit them to the visa office when requested.

I have hired Abhinav Consultant and they told me that it can be submitted at later stage...

Spot on!!

Btw, can you let us know what documents you are gathering (asked by the consultant)?

Amit,

Did I advise u for PCC ?.I have given my opinion and you can do whatever u feel right

FYI, there r few countries where PCC is difficult to get such as Saudi, iraq, etc. This does not mean that u take it for granted to submit the PCC at later stage

They know which country has problems in issuing PCC and they know that indian PCC is not difficult to get. If u read carefully they r saying STRONGLY RECOMMENDED, hope u understand english properly

If u don't want to submit PCC with application ,its fine. Nobody will force u or do spoon feeding to u

Your consultant knows how much, that only time will tell. Hope ur consultant goes well till u get the visa

All the best

I am Indian, and staying in USA. I need to get police clearance from both these countries. That will take some time. Does that mean, my application has a high chance to be rejected?

Please, give me your frank opinion. I won't mind anything.

Mr. Coolguy....there is a difference between recommendation and mandatory...hope u better understand the meaning.....

If u r trying ur best and not getting, better to attach a covering letter explaining the scenario for PCC. This will help them to understand the situation

Keep it simple for them
