Police certificates for PR application

Hi I am wondering if anyone can give me some advice in regards to the requirement for police certificates when applying for PR.

I am currently in Canada and have now received my positive LMIA and am starting my application for PR. I am aware that I need a police certificate from everywhere I have lived since 18 years of age for more than 6 months.

It did previously state on the CIC website that they had to be issued no later than 3 months prior to your application but when I checked today it stated that I would need to submit a police certificate from the UK with my application but does not state if it must be within 3 months or not!

I am hoping that it means that the certificate I have from December is still valid because this would be the third police check that I have had to get and at nearly $100 a time it is not a cheap process.

Thank you :)

They have recently changed the rules. Previously they had to be submitted to CIC within 3 months of them being printed from the police station. It has now been extended to 6 months.

My PR application is being processed by the London Office. They asked me to submit the medicals, PCC, RPRF receipt and family updated information via scanned copies to them. They stated not to send hard copies and send only scanned PDFs to them. The Medicals were submitted to them on 15th June, RPRF payment was done on 15th June and the scanned copies and other docs emailed to them on 15th June. The status on their website (19th June) stated that medicals had been received. Do I need to send the hard copies to the London VO also, even though they asked me to send only scanned copies? When can I expect to hear back from them now?
