Police certificate

Hello friends,
I have not much time for submitting my EE application and the police certificate takes about 4 months from outside my country. Because of covid 19, I cannot travel to my country. What should I do, I will miss my deadline.

If you’re unable to get a police certificate from a country, you’re responsible to show why you can’t get one.

To prove that you can’t get a police certificate, you must:
show proof that you requested a police certificate from the correct authorities and
write a letter explaining all the efforts you have taken to get one.

You could apply for EE. Police certificate will only be needed after you get the ITA. Meanwhile you could provide proof that you have applied for the Police Certificate by way of an acknowledgement or receipt till the actual certificate can be produced.

I have got the Police Certificate but I cannot use it till IRCC asks for it after giving me an ITA. :)

Yes but if continue reading that link, it says in rare case officer accept to explanation otherwise reject.

You will in any case only need the PC if you receive an ITA. Are you applying inland or outland?
