Hi,

I am working in Canada and will apply soon for PR. I have my old expired police certificates ( 10 months old ). Can I use them for my PR application ?

I went back to my country and stayed there for only a week since I landed in Canada.

Also my wife came with me when I went back to my home town. Does she also need new police certificate ? She never travelled back since she came to Canada.

PCCs are only valid for a year, and your PCC is valid for two more months. You should get a new PCC for yourself and your wife (in case her PCC is also 10 months old).

it depends on the issuing date of that PCC. if you haven't lived in the country for six months after the date on the PCC then it's still good . make sure you mention it in your POE though.
