Everyone over 18 requires one. (some citizens over 16)

You and your dependents need police check if you are over 18.
you and your dependents also need police check if you were 18 in your country of previous resident before coming to Canada if you are here.
if your case is aged 18, you would need two police Clarence 1 from previous country of residence and 1 from current country of residence.
