I have been studying and now working in Canada for over 5 years now.
When I was 13 (I am 25 now) I had a instance with the police where I was fighting with my siblings and was arrested (mostly to scare me). I was never incarcerated and remember the cop saying it won’t be on my record when I’m older. Never was a big deal until now that I’m getting FBI clearance I’ve been scared it’ll show up.
My question is - after getting a study permit and work permit would Canada even consider a childhood misdemeanor as a reason to be inadmissible? Am I over thinking it? Just scared I’ll lose everything from a bad night as a kid that I can barely remember....
