POLICE CERTIFICATE VALIDITY

How long the Police Certificates are valid? I received the last Police Certificate in Feb 2013. Since I have to reapply and planning to reapply in July 2013, does this Police Certificate is still valid? Or I have to get the new certificate?

I concur. However, people on this forum advise it is valid for 3 month only.

You can apply and be ready with this PCC and be ready with another PCC with a new date just in case they ask for..

Officially, PC, the document itself is valid for one year. However, at the time they receive the application , it should not be more than 3 months old (considering the criminality and security processing will take around 9 months from application received, if it takes longer they have to ask you for new PC).

You can go ahead with your current PC, and if they require more recent PC, they will ask you later to submit new PC.

This seems to be a long time. I am expecting my package to be returned by next week and I will apply with the current one. And also I will apply for the latest Police Certificate too.
