Police certificate under IEC Working Holiday

My sister got an invitation to apply for a work permit under IEC Working Holiday. Her Police certificate is in german. We got it translated and verified by a translator but does it still need to be notarized?

If you translated it by a "certified" translator with his/her seal on it and oath, then it's ok.
