Police Certificate - Saudi Arabia

People who live/have lived in KSA. I've received an ITA and now collecting my paperwork. I have actually left Saudi but have kept my residency so I go back and forth. As I understood from the IRCC website, that means I need to get a police certificate. My issue is, I'm so confused on where/how I'm supposed to get the request letter for it (you can't just request one from the Police there). I've contacted the Canadian embassy they said it's not them and I read vaguely somewhere that IRCC will 'MAIL' me the letter, I'm worried this will take ages considering the mail system here. Anyone know what to do about this? or has been in a similar situation?

If you are referring to the above link, the "mail" here means email or a message in your MyCIC account.

Which city do you live you in? Yes, you must have that letter from the CIC and take that letter to your local “Criminal Evidence Department” as they are th ones who will issue the pcc

Thanks for this! Are you sure about this? if so it's great news cause I've already emailed the Riyadh/AbuDhabi through the form online, hopefully that means they will send me a request letter in a few days. Have you done this?

Find out what they call “Criminal Evidence Department” in Arabic and ask anyone you know in Jeddah to find out where it’s located or have a friend go there and ask them what needs to be done in order to get the pcc and am sure things would be clearer then.

Oh my friend you have some work to do ... My wife did it last month ...
First, submit a request in the IRCC Webform stating your visa office and application number (attaching your ITA is not a bad idea).
IRCC Webform:
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=abu dhabi&_ga=2.165845822.1019248409.1520081556-684320890.1508881163
Next, they will contact you by email confirming that your name was added to the gate and to take the PCC request from the Canadian Embassy.
You will have to attest this letter from the ministry of foreign affairs before actually going and requesting the PCC.
Any other information of where to go will be provided in the embassy.
If you are an energetic person, you can finish this entire task in one day (similar to what we did). Best of luck and contact me if you need something else ...

Hey! I remember it was around three weeks after PR application. After that, everything was ready in the same day (including translating these police documents).

Hello everyone! I just have a quick question, my PR application is under process and we received a letter requesting the Saudi police clearance certificate. My husband and I reside in Jeddah and have already applied for the certificate. However, the letter received from CIC stated to upload the police clearance on the portal once ready but my account is showing no tab to upload it. Did anyone face a similar issue? How did you submit the certificate? I just sent in an enquiry via IRCC webform and am wondering in the meantime, if any of you have had a similar experience. Thank you
