Police Certificate requested for a country i stayed in for 42 days only !

Guys I am so Puzzled ,
I work offshore as an expat commuter in West Africa in an oil and gas company.

I submitted my application and all was going perfect until I received a letter from CIC requesting me to submit a police certificate from Angola ! but I never stayed there more than 6 months as highlighted in the CIC website actually the total amount of consecutive day I had once was 42 days only.
I contacted our office in Angola and their response was that there is no way to get this paper because I am not an Angolan resident and they don’t issue this certificate for none residence.

Please advice guys I am so lost ???

You should contact CIC office with explanation that you were stayed there less than 6 months, it should be ok bro, dont worry. It's clearly mentions on their application kits and website.

Send a response to CIC explaining this and attach a copy of teh response from your office in Angola. Better still, get your office to do you an official responspe on the company letter head and duly signed.

Thanks guys for your help ,
i contacted CIC and they requested a copy of my passport including blank pages.
I hope this will solve the issue.
