Hi all -
I'm applying for PR through the Spouse / Common-law in Canada class and I just received a letter stating :
"In order to continue processing your application, a police certificate is required from [home country] in which you have spent the majority of your adult life (since the age of 18) other than Canada."
The thing is, I have spent the majority of my adult life in Canada. I am wondering if I should contact CIC to clarify or if I should just go ahead and send the certificate.
The other thing is that they require the certificate in a month's time. I know for sure this certificate will not be ready within a month in my home country. Has anyone been in this situation / has any advice on how to handle this?
Thanks!!
