Hello all,

I just received an ITA on the 45th draw.

I am currently gathering all of the paperwork however I have one major problem and would like some advice:
I have a passport which was renewed in 2010 so I currently have accurate travel history from 2010 to 2016. The old passport was kept by the embassy. However I must provide travel history 10 years back to 2006. From 2006 to 2008 I was living in the USA on a student visa, since I stayed more than 6 months I am assuming I will be asked for PCC from the USA. I just check the processing times for PCC from the US and it takes between 12 and 14 weeks. I only have 60 days. What should I do?

Which country takes back old passport?
You can upload a letter providing evidence that you have requested or applied for FBI PCC. This includes a screenshot of tracking information of package to FBI. CIC knows that it is a 12 to 14 weeks wait time to get FBI PCC.

So I am in the clear then? If I present this letter and tracking number there will be no issue aside from my application being delayed once submitted?

Yes, you should be fine. They do not need tracking number. Just upload a scanned copy of tracking information to prove that you have applied for FBI PCC along with a cover letter. They will give you an extension. Nothing to worry. Also, follow FBI PCC thread in this forum.
