Hi,
I am an Indian citizen and Candian immigration appliacnt.
I need to submit my Police Certifcate to Canadian Consulate, Buffalo.
However, Certicate issued by local Speritendent of Police office is written in Indian National language (Hindi).
Will it be acceptable by Canadian Consulate?

Please Help!

Thanks a lot for the prompt response!
How should I get a 'certified' translation?
Are there Canadian Consulate authorized tranalator agencies?

Please let me know if there is some link available to help with.

Thanks!

I'am affraid you have to have it translated by licenced translator (however i'm not 100% sure). I don't know where you are located but try google search for licenced translators in yuor area. For example i found this: http://www.ultratranslate.com/services/index.html

The certified translation is all you need, gsharma. The document doesn't have to be notarized. And in any case, a notary can't determine whether the document is an accurate translation and wouldn't be of any help. That's why you need a "certified" translator.

Best of luck.
