police certificate from turkish occupied cyprus

hi all,
i am in the process of completing my documents .took more than year ,me and my family live in saudia arabia ,my problem now is my husband has studied from turkish occupied cyprus and left the place 11 years ago ,we went to the turkish embassy but thy denied any help and said cyprus abministration never write back to us ,even if u will submit us documents thy dont write back..... canadian site doesnt mention seperately for north cyprus ...i tried to contact all the phone numbers available on other websites of newzeland and australia,but found them veryy unaware and uncoperative,no help except long bill in riyals
any idea ,help advice appreciated

Northern Cyprus is an illigetemate government that no one recognizes it. I suggest you to contact the Canadian embassy or consulate through email or fax and ask about your issue. Worst case scenario would be to travel to N. Cyprus Lefkosa and try to get ure police certificate in person.

thanks for the reply ,,this was the advice that even turkish embassy gave us....that shows how much control do thy hav over the land except issuing visas lol anyways that would be worst and impractical for us atleast

i dont see it as not practical though... I visited Cyprus last summer, and then crossed the border by walking from Nicosia to Northern Cyprus, they had to give me the visa on a piece of paper upon entry within minutes... its a nice walk in downtown Northen Cyprus' Nicosia and I believe they have there all the administrative offices including police. Northern Cyprus is very cheap and very nice to stay for a couple of days and enjoy the sunney and sandy beaches there.

who ever wants to have police clearance from TRNC,will never get one from turkish embassies at least .....

Contact the appropriate department for more info and ask them if you can submit the application through mail.

Just wanted to know were you able to get the Police certificate from Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

If yes what did u do to get it.

If not then how did you manage to get away without it .

No we couldn't get it ...only reasonable representative office of trnc was Washington .thy replied us in denial and we had few months of correspondence in which we sent applications and request letters and thy tried sending the papers to trnc from where thy replied the rep office in denial..I showed all the proving letters that I tried my max /and only way left was to travel to trnc ...hope it helps

What i understand from your your reply is that the only way to get police certificate is through travelling there... If i may ask are you planning to travel to get it ? Because if you cannot produce the police certificate your all efforts will be doomed...

no actually u have to prove the immigration officer that u tried ur best to getthe police certificate i send thm all the correspondnce that wee had with TRNC offices in washington and alhamdoillah thy accepted it

Good day. Glad you and family was successful. i am in the same situation now. Studied in TRNC from 2012-2015.

please what is the best advise you can give as i have tried all i can. only to get same response that i have to come down

Iam back to home country now nigeria. i have also contacted turkish embassy here in Abuja but no response.

We are both in the same shoes, i was able to apply via TRNC New York Representative, i provided all the documents necessary and paid the fees. according to them it was gonna take 2-3 months. its 5 months now and i never got anything back, i emailed New YORK and they kept on telling me that they havent gotten any information
