Police certificates or clearances from each country in which you and every one in your family aged 18 years or older have resided for six months or more since reaching 18 years of age. You must attach the original police document(s). Please consult our website for specific and up-to-date information on how to obtain police certificates from any country.

1) I am only sponsoring my wife from India, now why do they want everyone in family aged 18yrs or older to get PCC?

2) I want her to have my name on her PR, is there anywhere on application that says put different name on PR?

7. PROOF OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION
Include for yourself and each of your family members, proof of completion of the upfront medical examination from the Panel Physician.

3) Why do they want each of her family member to do medical Examination? I am only sponsoring her and no1 else.

I tried finding the answers online but could not find it.

Just need your wife's PCC

2) I want her to have my name on her PR, is there anywhere on application that says put different name on PR?

you cannot. first you need to get her new passport with new name, then only you can have your name in her PR

1, Just your spouse needs a PCC
2. Just your spouse has the medical
3. You wife would have to change the passport to her married name, as that the visa will be issued in.

They only say everyone over 18 if you are sponsoring more than one person. For example, if you are sponsoring your wife and she has a dependent, they need to get police checks and medicals too.

If you are only sponsoring your wife, only she needs the PCC and Medical.

An additional input. In case your wife is changing her family name and getting a new passport, it’s easiest and fastest to get it done before submitting the application and even before getting the PCC and medical exam so that all the documents are in her new name since the beginning. Changing only the family name on the passport is pretty fast in India.
