Police Certificate for India, applicant residing in USA ??

Hi All

I am going to apply for PR CEC category. My husband lives in USA. So he needs PCC for India done from USA (along with USA PCC).
Any one who got PCC for India done in Atlanta Indian Consulate? or any other CGI in USA. How long does it take? I checked in the forum, could not find any recent info on this....

Also can it be done from local region in India? Kindly suggest.

If his Indian passport is issued from Indian embassy/Consulate in USA, he can get the police clearance fast from there. Otherwise it will take time. In order to get PCC from India he need to go to India and apply there personally.
