Guys, regarding police certificate from home country.
Im residing in saudi arabia now and travelling to my home country for 2 wks to get some documents and have my pcc.. then will return saudi arbia again.. will my home country pcc be invalid that way? As it says pcc should be released after you leave the country.. is this applicable for home country?

yes, you will need a new PCC from your home country.

Loool i know that question is a headache for all of us But see my advice is be on the safe side and i will tell you what to do,just apply for the pcc the same day you are travelling in the morning since you are going to egypt, try to have your flight at night, that way the issue date will be the next day unless you applied on thursday, issue date will be saturday, that way the pcc issue date will be after your departure, hope that helps

Great then apply thursday morning, take your passport copy or national id but must be valid go apply thurs morning and leave,it will be issued on sat if you apply at el moderya and i think if you apply at the police station it will take a few more days, that way u will recieve the computerized pcc instead of the manual, then sign it from the police officer and stamp it and take it to the ministry of foreign affairs to stamp it and translate it at a certified translator but makesure to submit the coloured pcc and not black and white, good luck

Thnk you wolverine this is quite informative.
But there are some points i don't understand
1) is there a blk n white pcc?
2) what is the manual pcc? Is it what we get when we have it done from the egyptian embassy in ksa?
3) does the officer normally stamps it? Or we shud give it to him to have it stamped?
4) why do we have to stamp it from the foreign affairs?

Some people advised to have it translated in wezart l 3adl in l abassia as it would be more accredited

Yes they dont issue computerized pcc

No they dont stamp it so you have to tell
Them that you need to stamp it in order to notarize it at the ministry of foreign affairs
4) why do we have to stamp it from the foreign affairs? You dont have to but i just did it
