Police certificate expiring soon before e-APR submission

I just received my FBI PPC but the police certificate for my home country will expire on October 18, 2017.

If I submit my e-APR before October 18, 2017, would my home country's PPC will be accepted? Or should I renew the PPC for my home country before submitting my e-APR?

Ideally it should be accepted but if you can apply a new one that would be best.
Most rejection cases comes due to PCC. If you can get a fresh PCC with few months or a year validity, that would be best.

I am currently in the US. I got my Indian PCC from embassy over here. It doesn't mention anything about the expiry date. Does your PCC specifically mention about the expiry date?

Yes, my police certificate has an expiration date on it. Maybe, it is different for India. Check with someone from India.

I checked my wife's Indian PCC issued from Mumbai, India. It doesn't have an expiration date. Maybe it is different across different cities/states.

The date on the cert doesn't matter. What matters is what IRCC considers to be valid.

I too received the PCC from the Indian embassy in Oman without any expiration date.

You should have a valid PCC i.e It should be valid on the on the day you submit your application.

Put 6 months from the issue date. Good luck!

Could you please advise how to get Indian PCC from Indian embassy in Oman as well Oman PCC?

Oman PCC - they need photographs, fee, CIC letter, name and address. I got my friend in Oman to do this for me. He got that in 10 mins

First get Oman PCC and then visit the BLS passport office in muscat and ask them to apply Pcc for canada immigration. The process is outsourced to BLS from Indian Embassy

It will take about 15 Days

Also i forgot Attest the Oman PCC from Ministry of external Affairs of Oman before you go to BLS
