hi, i'm currently living in my home country (Sg) and going to apply for police certificate.

on CIC website it says:

If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and:

are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.

6 months BEFORE i apply? i have already gotten my ITA, does that mean it's too late to get one? Sorry very confused. anyone can clarify?

It means it has a validity of 6 months for your country of residence.

So when you apply it shouldn't be older than 6 months.

OK, but what if i submit the police certificate now, and CIC takes 6 months to review my e-APR, and it goes over 6 months? do i submit another one?
