Police Certificate Cover

Hello everybody,

My wife and I decided to enter Express Entry. I hope everything will be fine but I want to ask a question. We had IELTS and sent our documents to WES.

But I noticed about the Police Certificate that it should be taken from any country one have stayed more than 6 months. My wife had a master education in the Netherlands between 2009-2010 and I studied in the Netherlands between 2003-2004. (we were both above 18 years old)

My question is, do I have to take the Police Certificate as well (It has been 14 years I have left there)?

And before entering the pool, should I start the procedure or wait for ITA?

they only ask for 10 yr address history so you dont need the pcc. your wife needs it.

Thank you very much navinball. Are you sure of 10-years rule? I apology that I am new to this but I would like to start the procedure if it applies to me as soon as possible since of the 60 days upload period.

And what is your suggestion to start the procedure since bureaucracy may take time. At the time of entering pool (if we have a good score to receive ITA?) We still wait for WES though.

you are only required to provide address history for the past 10 yrs. but are you claiming points for your netherlands education in express entry? then you have to enter your education details in the application and it might trigger a netherlands pcc.
whats your estimated EE score. if you are sure of getting an its within the next couple months then apply for PCC right away.

I am not counting my Netherlands education since it was not a completed program. I was transferred to another university in my own country.
After the tool calculation, the EE score might be around between 455 and 465. If WES returns in a month, since they have started the evaluation on last Friday, then hopefully we will be in the pool in August.

So do you think we should apply for PCC this week?
