Hi BG_2012! I've moved you up the spreadsheet to the proper place. Congratulations on the fast process. Unfortunately I can't help you. My app was in CIC Sept 13th and they still haven't sent me anything. Good luck!BG_2012 said:Hi Everyone. We made an outland application for me (born in Canada) to sponsor my wife (Belarusian) through the Warsaw office. Sent in the application Sept 6, 2012. I got the letter saying I was approved as a sponsor Oct 17, 2012. If I check the online status of the application, it says only that the application was received and they have the medical forms from my wife. What will happen next? How long did you have to wait to get some kind of letter or acknowledgement from Warsaw? Has anyone got any idea if the process is more or less than the 8 months posted on the CIC website? Thank you all for your help, and I hope everyone's applications are proceeding smoothly.
Hi BG. Unfortunately, there are really not a lot of people going through the Warsaw Visa Office. We are not able to determine if the waiting time is less then the 8 months written on CIC's website. Aa we go, we will only see on our own cases what is the exact time. FOr the status on Ecas, it also states application received for my wife. She does not have medicals received for some reason. Maybe it is becasue we did not do an X-ray due to my wife's pregnancy and they do not consider it a full medical. Who knows. By the way, your wife will recieve an email from Warsaw stating that they received her file. Looking at your dates, it should come very shortly.BG_2012 said:Hi Everyone. Hi Nicelinanicelina said:wow! warsaw is working very fast!
did they contact you trough the e mail or regular mail!?
i think they will wait
Congratulations on applying. Hopefully the sponsorship will be approved by Missisauga before the year end. Warsaw VIsa Office looks indeed faster then others. They are slow answering emails though. We have sent them a question email a week ago, and still nothing. We'll see on this thread how things progress for each of us. There is not a lot of us in this forum going through Warsaw.grzybek said:Hello Warsaw gang,
I just joined the November 2012 applicants thread and thought I would check in here also. We just sent our application from Warsaw to Mississauga yesterday by UPS.
I was told over the phone from a representative of the visa office in Warsaw who said that for family class applications, she expected the processing time would most likely be significantly less than the 7-8 month estimate I have seen elsewhere. She said that the Warsaw office process family class applications on a priority basis.
I also have a couple of tips about getting translations done in Warsaw, if anyone is trying to figure it all out. Will check in here again to post how things go.
Hey nicelina, congratulations. It's encouraging to hear since we just mailed our application this week. Nice to know there are people coming out the other end of the process intact as well! I'm interested in the timeline of how this will all go for us. I didn't know that the medical is only valid for a year so we might have got ours a little early. But from the estimates I read it sounds like things are pretty fast.nicelina said:Good morning everyone. Smiley soooo good news. Smiley we just got a passport request.
