Hello there,

I have an active EE profile qualified under CEC for 452 points. My Age is 36 years, Ielts L-7 W-6 R-7 S-7, one years foreign experience in class A (April 2012- June 2013), (2013 Sept-2016 PG dip in Canada), 2016 June-2017 June in Class B full time work experience, July 2018 to July 2019 class B full time work experience. However my score is at 452 since April after updating 7776 Ielts score. I was expecting for my score to change today as one more year experience will be added to my profile by end of July, but it hasn't. What could be the reason?

My score break down in EE is

CRS - Human Capital - Age 72 CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education 128 CRS - Human Capital - First Official Language Proficiency 96 CRS - Human Capital - Second Official Language Proficiency 0 CRS - Human Capital - Canadian Work Experience 53

CRS - Spouse - Level of Education 0 CRS - Spouse - First Official Language Proficiency 0 CRS - Spouse - Canadian Work Experience 0
CRS - Skill Transferability - Education 50 CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience 38 CRS - Skill Transferability - Certificate of Qualification
CRS - Arranged Employment 0 Provincial/Territorial Nomination 0 CRS - Additional - PR or Canadian Sibling 0 CRS - Canadian education 15 CRS - Additional - French Proficiency or Bilingualism 0

Any help or information is appreciated. Thanks.

You already have 53 points for two years of Canadian work experience. Your profile would have counted the 2nd year on or around June 1.

The profile uses MM/YYYY only instead of MM/DD/YYYY. As a result, there is no difference between June 1 and June 30, July 1 and July 31 to the system. So if your profile shows July 2018 as the start date, the profile treats that as July 1 2018. So the system thinks that you will complete the year as of June 30. But to the system, June 30 is no different from June 1. So the points would have been added early.

As a result, the system can count experience up to 2 months too early.

Yes, this is screwed up, and yes, many people have been refused for applying too early. It is your responsibility to make sure you meet the eligibility criteria as well as the points calculated by the system...
