Points for Stay in Quebec

My application is under evaluation and am awaiting the decision. meanwhile due to recent change in AoT my points been pulled down and as per my calculations am short of 2 points. If me and my family make a trip to quebec for 3 weeks, can claim 2 points or those points are awarded only for those trips made before the submission of your application.

You might be able to claim only 1 point for your planned stay for 3 weeks. And, I am not sure your stay after filing an application will help you to gain this point.

how do you know your points have been pulled down? is that even possible after you submit your application? I think changes in AoT take place for following processes NOT the one you applied for.

Please correct me if I am wrong

Hi The changes are always retroactive .. except to applicants for whom preliminary evaluation is over before the amendments date. I applied in 2013 July and in August they made lot of changes and my AOT was pulled to zero.
