Points for age if that changes from the date of entry to pool

This is maybe something different to this topic, but I think I have more friends here. It was my birthday yesterday and CIC gave me a really warm happy birthday by decreasing my CRS . That is fine. But why I have fallen from 437 to 428? I think it should decrease by 5 crs. I was 32 and now I am 33. Thanks for your answers.

Hi..I received my ITA in Feb with a CRS of 449 points. Lowest CRS score for the round was 447. Had my birthday on 31 March and I turned 33. I submitted my documents on April 11, paid the fee and received my AOR. Since then I've received an update saying I've passed my medical. I checked my CRS yesterday and it had decreased to 443. My ITA letter states the following

"NOTE: If you had a birthday since we sent you this invitation, and the change to your age decreases your points total, this will not cause us to refuse your application for permanent residence."

However, from what I'm reading on the forums.. this might be a cause of concern. Should I be worried?

As per IRCC, it grants exemption Exemption to section (Eligibility for CRS calculation) A11.2: candidates whose birthday occurs after they receive an ITA

An applicant may have a birthday after they receive an ITA but before they submit their e-APR. Their change in age may lower their CRS score below the lowest score in the round of invitations. It may also result in the applicant no longer meeting the minimum requirements of the FSWC and, consequently, no longer meeting the MEC, resulting in a refusal based on section A11.2.

When a change in age results in the candidate no longer meeting the MEC or having their recalculated CRS points score fall below the lowest points score in that round of invitations, officers should consider applying the public policy to exempt applicants for permanent residence from certain age-based requirements between invitation to apply and application, based on section A25.2. This consideration can result in an exemption from the refusal of an application under section A11.2.

This public policy also grants an exemption to applicants who may be refused for failing to meet FSWC program requirements when their birthday occurs between the ITA and e-APR.

Hello,

Right now I am in a similar situation like you were.

My ITA was 18/Oct/17 with CRS 436 (this was the lowest score for that ITA)
I had my birthday on 07/JAN/18,
I submitted my e-apr AOR on 11/JAN/18.
Hence I am expecting that now my CRS score would also reduce by 5points to 431. (This will be lower that the lowest score of ITA round)
As of now I have cleared my medicals and my BGC is "We are processing your background check. We will inform you if we need any information"

I wanted to know if you had raised any CSE for your case.
And should I raise any CSE for mine.

Guys I will turn 33 on january. But when I calculate my CRS score it is reduced 6 points, not 5 points.

What is the reason?
