Hi, can anyone share their step by step experience of landing into Canada airport from getting off the plane to receiving their study permit. What documents are required, how long do they take to issue the study permit, what questions does the immigration officer ask, do they need to take interview or biometrics or only our documents are enough?
It would be much appreciated.
Thanks

After you Get Off From Plane You Will Follow the Directions, To the Immigration Section.

CBSA Officer will Handle your Case, He Will Ask for your Letter of Introduction and Passport First.

Then He Will Ask for an Offer letter of University or College you Have, He will ask you to Confirm Like what Course you are Going For.

Whats the Duration of the Course and Some other Formal Questions.

After That he Will Give you Your Study Permit. Now you Will Move to Get your Bags and On the Way Out U may Meet Customs who may Check your bags and thats it Get oUt of Airport You are now Free :D

Hey I recently experienced this, here I go:

1. Airline will provide you with the Arrival form. Fill it and keep that form with your Travel document.
2. Once you are out of the plane just follow the instructions and move towards Baggage Claim.
3. In between you will find a queue saying Visitors, Residents. Just go n join the queue of Visitors.
4. Wait for your turn.
5. First IMO will greet you and will take your PP and arrival form.
6. He can ask you questions like " From where are you coming from", "Purpose of your Visit", "Duration of course", "Institute".
7. He will stamp your PP ,will return you the Arrival form and directs you to the place from where you will be getting your permit.
8. Once again queue, a common one.
9. Wait for your turn.
10. Second IMO will ask for your LOI, LOA, Travel doc, etc.
11. Will ask you some general questions regarding your stay, your course duration, how will you b paying the fees. Etc.
12. Will print your SP and staple to your PP.
13. You got what you want, now its time to leave.
14. Collect your baggage and move out.
15. While going out you have to submit the Arrival form.

Hope it helps!
