Hi,
Im showing Proof of Funds in the form of an FD that I have created with SBI. So what all documents would I be required to submit while submitting my eAPR?
I made this FD online, so I can download an e-FD Certificate
Is there anything else required????

Just for info sake, can someone share the details of bank statement that they got from SBI?? What all details were included? It would be great if a copy of the letter could be uploaded with the account specific details blacked out. Would be very useful!!!

Hi,

1. First and foremost you need the Balance certificate from the bank, on Bank's letterhead, having contact information ( e-mail, phone number, address) of bank. it should indicate your average balance of 6 months, current balance, FD amount, FD dates etc. Date of opening of account.
2. Secondly you will attach the original FD documents.
3. Thirdly you can attach bank statements of last 6 months.

- All the above documents should be stamped and signed by the bank and uploaded in original.

I made this FD online, so I can download an e-FD Certificate Yes you can.
Is there anything else required???? No.

Just for info sake, can someone share the details of bank statement that they got from SBI?? What all details were included? The bank has its own format, you just tell them you need bank statements for so and so period, they will provide you with it. Ideally it will have your account number, name, address, account type, date of issuing of statement, dates from which the statements begin and end, closing balance, credit and debit etc. They will be stamped and signed by the bank. Dont worry much about this the bank will provide you properly as per their format.
It would be great if a copy of the letter could be uploaded with the account specific details blacked out. Would be very useful!!!

If I am showing all the amount in my FD account, what is the point of providing the details of my Savings Account with the Bank? The FD Certificate would cover all the details regarding the FD account (Date of Opening, Maturity Date, Total Amount)

Okay if the entire amount is from FD and no other account then yes Only the FD account.

Hello Girishjs,

I'm in exact same stage that probably you had gone throw few months back. I would really appreciate if you can help me by providing some info from your experience?

1) I've a FD which i made online for showing proof of funds (In SBI bank), So If i'm taking the online e-FD Certificate, should i take it to the bank and get any kind of approval to show its genuine?

2) My FD is for 6 months period and it will complete 6 months on February 28th-2018, So should i wait till then to get a letter from the bank? because i've read somewhere 6 months old fund would be risk free. (My ITA will be expired on March 21st only)

3) Can you please share a template of letter that i should get from the bank for a FD?

4) Apart from the letter from bank and e-FD Certificate, anything else to be submitted?
