Hey Guys!

I am currently is EE pool and eligible for PNP and CEC. My question is about POF, i don't have maintained funds required by IRCC over 6 months, i only have it for past 2 months but less amount before these 2 months. These funds grew eventually due to my salary. Would that be a problem if i am asked to provide POF? Also, in my EE profile what should i enter for the amount of money i am bringing to Canada? If i enter the amount that is required by IRCC then it makes me eligible for FSW as well but i prefer not to provide POF.

Please guide! Thanks

If you are required to provide POF and misrepresent that you have the funds your PR application is typically denied. POF is important to either settle in Canada or to provide a little bit of an emergency fund so as a new PR if you lose your job or have an unplanned expense you can afford it and don’t end up having to access social services right away like emergency housing for example.
