POF - FD and SavingAccount of my Wife

Dear Members,
I think it is a repeat question, but I searched the forum and I was not able to comprehend info for following.

For proof of funds, are following considered?

1) Amount in Saving bank of my wife
2) Fixed Deposits owned by my wife

I read several threads and have the impression that following are considered, but please correct me if I am mistaken.
3) Mutual Funds in my name
4) Fixed Deposits in my name

For 1 and 2 - yes, you will need a FD receipt and statement along with bank letter for your wife's account. Also an NOC from your wife that these funds are free for use as proof of funds for PR

3) -You will need to sale this and show the mutual fund statement
4) FDs are considered.

Q: The NOC , is it some kind of affidavit or a simple hand written letter wiith my Wife's signature on it? Also, if everything goes right then i am not planning to take my Wife to Canda for first 2 months or so. Will that be an issue if I am showing my wife's FD's and savings as POF.

NOC will be a simple letter. Also no issues while landing as you have this letter. Only make sure you get an updated bank statement before landing
