POE expired. Possiblity to apply second time? (Work permit, IEC)

Hi everyone,
i have a letter of introduction for a one year work permit. It expires in April 2017. I will probably not be able to go to Canada by that time due to private issues.
Is it possible to re-apply after one work permit expires?

Im from Germany, if it makes a difference.

What kind of work permit? Is it an IEC / working holiday visa?

Sorry - I see from your subject that this is an IEC. Missed that the first time.

You can re-apply - however not in the Working Holiday Visa category. If you reapply, it would need to be in the Young Professionals or International Co-Op category. Both of these categories require you to secure an employer in Canada first.
