I believe that they are the only two provinces that you can apply to directly without some sort of connection.

Hi,
Yes, you can apply for these provinces without any relative connection or job offer letter. Saskatchewan PNP is often considered as lenient PNP under which you need to score at least 60 immigration points or above. As you have higher number of work experience in your profile, you can gain higher points on SINP point assessment grid. Age is not the solely factor to gain points score. You can boost points through other parameters like education, work experience and other applicable factors. Though, you need to provide proof that you are well proficient in English language ability.
Hope, this Helps!

I'm planning to come to Canada for a MBA in Business Management?
Will SINP and PEI be good options for me to apply PR through PNP?
Isn't it compulsory to have a job offer for PNP?

I applied for MPNP through family stream (sponsored by my brother) on 25 July 2014. After receiving my MPNP nominating letter (17 March 2016), I sent my federal application package to IRCC (30 August 2016) and they returned my application package on mail to my sponsor’s Canadian address through Canada post (25 October 2016). My sponsor might miss/lost the mail and I was not informed anything about this issue. As I did not receive any file number and any response from IRCC, I contact with IRCC (13 November 2019) and they informed me that IRCC returned my application package on 25 October 2016 because of some missing information.

On their response IRCC also mentioned following:

“Your provincial nominee certificate has expired on September 6, 2016. If the application is received prior to the expiry date, an extension will not be necessary. If the application is received after the date of expire it will be returned to you as incomplete. (If an extension is approved, the province will provide you with an Approval Letter. It is important to include this document with your application.)”

Can you suggest me if MPNP will approve my application to extend my MPNP Nomination after such a long period? I am specifically worried about such long time between I received my initial MPNP Nomination letter (11 March 2016) and current time (11 May 2020).

Following is my MPNP application timeline:

Submitted online application for MPNP: 25 July 2014

Received MPNP Confirmation of Nomination: 17 March 2016

Send application to ICRC: 30 August 2016

ICRC received my application: 2 September 2016

MPNP Nomination expired on: 6 September 2016

IRCC returned my application through Canada post (My sponsor lost the mail): 25 October 2016

I sent enquiry to IRCC for status of my application and received response on: 13 November 2019

IRCC replied about mu missing information: 21 November 2019

You'll need to reapply from scratch. I don't think there's any chance the province is going to extend a nomination for an application that was returned more than three years ago.

Thank you very much for your reply. Do you think IRCC will accept my application if I just resend my updated application to them with my old nomination that I received in 2016 (without extension of the nomination)?

No - they won't. Your original nomination is dead. You need to reapply.

No - I don't. Your application was returned more than three years ago. It's far too late to do anything about this now.

You can certainly pay for a consult with a Canadian lawyer if you want to confirm.
