PNP Work Permit Support Letter - Question

Hi Guys,

I got BC PNP this month and plan to accept it in the first week of Jan through MyCIC.

Our current work permits (IEC working holiday) expire early March so I plan to request a work permit support letter.

I understand that I can take that to the border and have a work permit issued (think there is an additional fee my work will need to pay?). My question is, can my spouse get a permit at the same time?

Did you ever figure this one out... I am in the same boat.

From what I can tell on the cic website, he will be able to get an open permit for the length that they issue my closed one.

Medicals tomorrow, will submit by Friday and plan on emailing bcpnp straight away. I'll let you know how we go
