2. Medical results received

No update to date :-(

Where is the VO of US Citizen applicant? I only know that our papers are with CIO Sydney and ECAS shows "Medical Results Received"

Please if anyone could help.

It doesn't matter where your citizenship is from.. If you apply from within Canada, your application goes to CIO-Sydney(central intake) then gets transferred to CPC-Ottawa(central processing).

If you applied from another country and reside outside Canada then you would have to check which visa office is responsible for that country.

May applicants are still waiting so it is normal that you haven't heard anything. Most March/April applicants just got IP in the last couple weeks. Some still don't have anything.. You should be worried when other May applicants get IP and then June applicants get IP and you still haven't heard back.

Thank you. All our documents were mailed to CIO Sydney. The email from CIO-Sydney stated below:

"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Provincial Nominee Class.

Upon review of the information you have provided, your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).

Your application has now been placed into processing. "

Does it mean that our VO will be Ottawa?

Yes it sounds like it, do you live in Manitoba? If the answer is yes then your VO is Ottawa

No. My residence and work is US however, mailing address is in the Philippine because the bulk of the documents will be coming from the Philippines :-(.

Oh wow, so your mailing address with CIO is in Philippines? But you live and work in the US?? Lol ok, well CIO will send your documents to VO in Philippines I believe.

But I'll let other members chime in as I am applying from within Canada so not too sure

Yes... My wife and my 2 kids are still in the Philippines. My wife is the one on top of securing and submitting all documents needed.

I did email Philippine VO but they said that since our application was submitted to CIO, they can not answer any query from me. :-(

I don't know where to follow up our documents. :-(

Well in my experience, my file did not leave CIO until my application turned In Process. If applications from outside Canada follow the same route then yur file won't get to Philipines VO until your status shows In Process.

If an applicant from within Canada contacted Ottawa before their application turned In Process they would say yhe same thing, your file is not at our office...
