PNP. Terminated while PR is in process

Hello. I was terminated by my company who nominated me for my PNP. My PR is already in process. Received AOR.
I received a letter from my pnp officer that I’m supposed to search for a job who would endorse me, as soon as possible and reply back in 14 days.
Since my situation was abusive.. I got an open work permit now.
Now since I have an open work permit. Can I just get a full time job that meets pnp conditions or the employer needs to endorse me?

Only thing you need to do is find job yourself ASAP . Once you find job PNP office will ask you few documents and job letter and once they receive it they will reissue your nomination and will forward to CIC . Note if you are unable to find job and don’t meet PNP nomination conditions, your nomination will be withdrawn and your application will be refused. It’s your responsibility to find job not your employer.

It’s your responsibility to find job and update PNP office. Your employer has no role in it . It’s your PR application, everything you have to do yourself. Employer won’t find you job it’s your responsibility. If you want your PR application ongoing find ASAp.

Yes, they must endorse your application. PNP office might call your new employer to verify information with your new company. It does not matter your type of permit, open or closed

Put it this way, if your want the current PNP application to proceed you will need to get an employer that can endorse your nomination (or meet a certain requirement). If you want to abandon that application, you can find any job you want and not worry about employer endorsement. You have a open work permit now so it is up to you what you want to do, continue the PNP application or do something else.

Hello Nikhil I have same situation I loose my job while my pr is in process it’s been 2 and half months and I did not get AOR yet I just tell to city yet and they told me to find job . Should I need to tell pnp right away or I can take little bit time to find job and then tell to pnp . My file number will come soon

You must tell PNP now or that is misrepresentation.

I am still talking to my employer about lay off , they are still investigating it’s just one week ago happened

Like I have to tell my agent as well so they can tell them I have find new job and they are ready to endorse me as well , I thought first I will get endorsement then I will tell them . I told to city as well . They said find new employer who can endorse you

First, you need to inform the PNP program. They will allow you time to find an eligible employer.

Are you sure , I already find employer I have training today but first they have to designate with city then they have to apply my endorsement it may take 2 months can they give me time for 60 days
