Hello all,
i am finally here in canada. Just lately i have decided to sponsor my sister. Manitoba has PNP and Saskachewan also has its own PNP. I know to be eligible to sponsor my sister i have to stay in manitoba or Saskachewan for a year. I am right now in alberta . I am flexible to move anywhere.
My question is which is better, saskachewan or manitoba. I want to sponsor my sister as soon as possible. Can somebody help??

it is your choice really but sincerely speaking if you go the manitoba route your have the option of doing online application under family stream which is kinna of quicker (approximately 2 months or so) than the other streams. So if urgency is important to you getting your sister to canada then I recommend that as a better and quicker route provided you have been in canada enough to be eligible. you can visit there website for more info.

All the best

Thanks for replying.
But Yesterday i talked to a friend of mine. She said manitoba PNP has been older than the Saskachewan PNP . If in the situation if Manitoba or saskachewan had to close. Manitoba probably will close first .
What if I stay there for a year and later after some time they close. Just like how Alberta has done .
you know once these provinces has an influx of people they tend to slow down the process or their application takes more longer times. Is that true.
My friend suggested me since saskachewan;s PNP is newer than Manitoba, therefore, apply for Saskachewan.

Folks please advise.

For SK family nomination, your sister needs to have a job offer from NOC O,A or B which is very difficult to get from abroad. Something else to think about.

Saskatoon Sinp needs the family member being sponsored to have a job letter first. that is just so difficult .
how about manitoba ???
that mean saskatoon is tougher to sponsor a family
and how about manitoba???

I applied in MPNP general stream in dec 2010 and my case is too slow. I got a temp file number last dec 2011 and mailed the required documents in the same month. My sponsor havent received an interview call, nor I received my LOA. Whats wrong : @
