PNP PROCESS TIME IN ABU DHABI OFFICE

QSW is the same like PNP almost the same processing time , sometimes PNP is more faster , the processing time for PNP is 19 months and for the QSW 23 months,
i sent my file to CIO on 20 December 2013, get my AOR on 6 February 2014 ,and then................................nothing ,i guess that when they start work again me and you will be in the same time maybe you get your MR before me but almost the same time , but i am really confused why our applications stuck like this and when they will start processing it , i hope they start the processing this year and get the MR before 2015

I sent them a CSE a few minutes ago. Hopefully, they will respond... they said in 15 days.

i hope so, the last one i sent was in 30 October and they did not respond until now ,
anyway if i get any new information i will inform you .

I am mpnp applicant through strategic stream. Our application is at the last phase of waiting for passport request. Our exams shows our application for permanent residence is received on April 10, 2013, processing started on November 18, 2013, and Medical results have been received as we did them on 31 dec 2013.

The processing time in Abu Dhabi office for pnp applicants is 19 month from time of receipt of the application, as cic application states:

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

When estimating how long you will wait to receive a temporary visa, you must also take into account up to 10 days of transit or delivery time on top of CIC’s processing time. The time your application will spend travelling to and from CIC will vary depending on where you live.

So our application was received 10 April 2013 and thus processing time ends 10 nov 2014. Is it normal in Abu Dhabi to exceed processing time? Anyone is having similar case? What do you suggest?

You can send them a case specific enquiry (CSE). In ECAS, it is mentioned that if you have exceeded the processing time then you can file a CSE.
ADVO is quite slow recently and no one seems to know the reason behind it. The earlier batch takes less waiting time however now, things seems to drag in ADVO.

it is really annoying i know your feeling about this , the problem that maybe the VO calculate the processing time after they receive your application not from the CIC received date , this mean that they will calculate the processing time from 2 weeks after AOR date , and BTW the Processing time should change this month it is changing every 4 months i guess,
my advise for you request the Capes note for your application , this will take one month until you get the full report for you files and know what step is missing .

i got this email from ADVo before when i was asking about my file processing update ,
"The application is currently in a queue awaiting initial review. Files are processed in order of receipt, based on the date on which the complete application was received in our office. Once the file has been reviewed, we will contact you to advise any next steps in the processing of the application. Until then, we will not be able to provide additional information about this file.
Your patience is appreciated."
thats way i guess maybe they calculate it from the date they received it in the VO office

Thank u for the feedback. I checked the caipes looks promising. I will request that. Also, I want to submit inquiry. From what I read in caipes FAQ that our delay is mostly coz of security checks which is almost a year now. I wish just that we can have at least timeline!

what is AUH office ? and do you mean March 2014 not March 2013?
in most of cases the time between the medical and the PPR is 3 months can be 4 and also can be 1 month it is different from case to case
i am also QSW but i am still waiting the Medical request.

your file is very delayed, i know some applicants sent their file in June 2013 they get the AOR maybe in August 2013 , in process and medical on January 2014 and they get the Visa on April 2014 they also were QSW , so what happen to your application it is more than 18 month just to be In process !!!!

It is really very delay. There is nothing delay from my side. No issue, no objection on file but delay.
