Hello everyone,

We've done our medicals last May 31 and the doctor submitted the results on 09th June and until now, our eCAS status is still In Process. After the medicals, what is the next thing we should expect? Is it PPR? If so, how long (approx) it should take before they request for our passports?

Thanks.

I got the passport with visa today. I cant believe it i just personally gave on June 16, 2014 but received our passports thru aramex today... ;D

But guys i have a question becoz my child's visa is not included her Middle Name while me and my wife is mentioned in botht the Visa and CPR. Anybody similar situation here. please need your advise. Do i have to inform the Embassy or not? Thank u dear lord...

congrats leoj,

all are getting in our favor for advo, they are working sooo fast!..

base on the information that they gave to you, you should inform the visa office for correction/missing information for applicant and its dependents..

its better to do their instructions better than nothing.

i read that in the other paper enclosed with my passport.

kelan plans nyo mag land sa winnipeg?

ah, ok, you still have time for correction on your visas, its better to fix everything before you land, rather than to have a problem during your transit to winnipeg.

Hi everyone!

Just want you guys to know that I received my PPR today!!! Yes!!!

Congrats! :)

Our timeline is very similar. However, we've done our medicals last May 31 and the doctor submitted the results on 09th June. As of this morning, our eCAS still shows In Process.

I want to know if PPR is the next step and if it is, do you have an idea how long you think we should wait for PPR?

Appreciate your response.

Thanks.

Hi TheDuchess! Yes, PPR is the next stage but I'm afraid there is no definite answer to your question about when you could expect to receive it. Each application is unique to each other and it also depends to the assessment officer handling each cases. Some waited PPR for 5-6 months, some within a month and in my case I received it 15 days after my eCAS changed to medical received.

Hi GKarl, thanks for your response. The doctor said everything is alright with our medical results so I am hoping nothing will cause delays. Also, is there a way that I can follow up with them if they received our medicals? When you've done your medicals, how many days before your eCAS changed to medical received?

My medical was completed on 25-05-2014 and my eCAS changed to medical received on 01-06-2014, so basically after 6 days.

I suggest for you to call the panel physician and double check with him when did he send the results. If possible obtain proof from him then email this to the visa office.

You could send it to the same email address when you received your medical request.

Thanks for your suggestion. However, can I send an email to that email address even if it says Do Not Reply? :)
