I am new member on this forum

I am also worried about my Medical Request.

My ECAS is showing

Sept 30, 2013. CIO received my application but another I got email from CIO on October 29, 2013 that they received my complete application with UCI/Application numbers starting EP00000000

March 17, 2014 - My ECAS showing In Process, Started processing my application on March 17, 2014 but til now i did not received yet Medical Request.

Any similar scenario here?

BTW i am living in Abu Dhabi and I am not sure if they will transfer my application to ADVO.

Please advise..

hi joel,

congrats, did your Visa office requested for additional documents? or not?

halos magkakasunod lang tayo nila pachochay.. hopefuly we can receive our medical request soon.

Hi. A blessed day to everyone. I would just like to thank each one of you for helping and bringing out the best possible answers to all the queries of everyone. I’ve been a silent reader of this forum since 2009 and It helped me a lot in so many ways. In year 2010, I asked my husband to apply under the MPNP… It’s a snail mail that time and took us like forever to return all the docs to us and we have to send it back to them…it’s like a roller coaster ride of experience to us. I discovered things on our own on how to process the required docs and all… this forum really helped me and my husband to understand everything we need to know… Year 2013 when we got our medical request and couldn’t go because I am about to deliver my second child in a week time .. right after I delivered, we went for a medical in Jumeirah, Dubai and the same time we applied for my child’s passport. After a month, my son’s passport came and submitted his to Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. October, we received his MR and went right away to have his medicals done. December 10, when we received our passport request and submitted all our passports to CIC. It was about Christmas when we received our passports back with a golden stamp of immigrant visas. We are now booked to fly this June 2014 . Now, it’s payback time… let me know if I can be of any help and I am willing to share the experience we had… Again, kudos to all of you and God bless us all  …

Thank you for sharing eingel!!
Just want to share my update. I submitted our passports last March 30, & received by visa office March 31. Along with our passport is a cover letter, specifying passports update because me & my daughter had renewed passports & hubby is under processing at Phil Consulate where his new passport release will be expected by 1st week of May. ADVO officer called me yesterday & explained that she will extend our passport request date til 15 June 2014 to maximize our visa validity (Dec 5,2014) officer said they can release the visa now but once my hubby's new passport arrives we have to send all the passports again to ADVO for COPR amendment which she said will cost us AED 90/per passport. Since the officer has given me the option, we decided to extend PPR request date and for this ADVO will return our passports back for the meantime & will resend it once hubby's new PP arrives.
We are planning to land by mid July. Thank u

Hi itguy, i did not receive any email asking for additional docs from ADVO. Also, ala pa ako natanggap na email galing sa ADVO mismo kung sila talaga ang mag proprocess ng visa.

Sana nga tayo nila pachochay eh makareceive na ng medical request. Ang tagal mag antay nakakainip... ;D

Hi All,

Today I checked processing time for PR cards for new residents and it is showing 37 calendar days. Just wondering if any one recent got PR card. How much time it took to get PR card in Ontario?

Also I need some help for applying Travel Document. Please let me know if someone has done this recently.

Regards
Khurram

Hi Khurram,

What do you mean by travelling document?

If you are still in town, let catch-up :).

Hi Shamsi,

I am back as I have to quit my job and close all open ends. I am planning to travel back before baby birth which is due in June. I am really confused as CIC website is showing that New PR cards are processed and issued with in 37 calendar days. If you have any suggestion please share.

Regards
Khurram

I have no idea about PR card (still behind).

Have you declared these saving while landing?

you can bring in form of Bank Draft or Telex Transfer.

In my opinion its better to bring in form of Draft.
