Congratulations to all who got their rprf and medical request.

I did not receive any response frm ADVO for my email. I am planning to travel with Same CPR which mentioned my status as Single. Hope this will not be issue for my PR as I have to travel back in a week time. Any one has idea if border immigration officer can update sys with right status?

Regards
Khurram

I have found another thread in which they have discussed similar issue

I made my medicals at Al-Habib hospital, it took me 4 hours to finish.

The reception girls were helpful.

Guys I have a question, if I resigned from my work and went back to Jordan, and after that ADVO asked for my passports.

Do they require I have to stay in Saudi Arabia until my application approved or no need to stay at this stage?

Can I go back to Jordan and send my passport from there when they ask for it?

Thank you for your help.

hi thanks for the information that you have shared..

i would like to ask what kind of medical procedure did they do to you in al habib? coz i might choose that hospital. can you share what medical test you have done there? thanks rtamimi

Hi itguy29,

When I did the medical at Al-Warood with Dr. Sameh Ibrahim, they only did the following tests:
- Physical examination
- Eye sight
- Blood test (HIV antibody)
- Urine analysis
- Chest x-ray
I took with me photographs, printed medical request forms, copies of passports and original passports.
A nurse snapped our digital photographs at the hospital
I paid SAR600 for myself, SAR950 for my wife and SAR300 for my kid
The clinic can update your results online to CIC so it took just 3-4 days for the medical results received line to appear in my ecas status.

Folks,

I received my visa stamped passports yesterday (22 Mar). I had to pay SR68 to the Aramex guy for delivery in addition to the SR136 I paid earlier for sending my package (with a pre-paid airway bill) to ADVO. Nevertheless, it was not a bad deal as Aramex charges SR289 for a normal one-way shipment from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi.

My ecas status had changed to ‘Decision Made' on 18 Mar. I had mailed my passports etc to ADVO on 12 Mar and they were received by ADVO on 16.

So in all it took about ten days from sending to receiving back from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi. ADVO took just three days for its internal processing while the other seven days are for processing by courier company. Cheers,

hi lawrence, does it mean in physical exam, I need to become naked?? to check everything on my body?

how many hours it took you to finish your lab test?

thanks for the very informative experience.

It only means they can send the result of your medical through online? i read about that there are hospitals that do the e-med.

many thanks

congrats,

does the ADVO provide a file number(AOR) aside from the AOR-CIO?

yes, when your file is transferred from CIO NS to ADVO and becomes 'in process', ADVO will send you an email informing you that:

- processing has started on your file
- they give you an application number to be quoted for any correspondence with ADVO
- they request additional documents like employment reference letters, immigration forms, original academic transcripts and police certificates (if not provided earlier to CIO NS)

your ecas status changes to 'In Process'.

About 1-2 month after this email, you receive a medical request.

cheers,

hi itguy,

I replied to your PM. No worries about the physical examination. Its done in a comfortable way. The whole procedure took about two-three hours. Both Al-Warood and al-Habib are e-med enabled so they will send the results online to CIC. cheers,
