Dear Shamsi,

I checked with my brother, he is not sure which courier he used as he went to some place where multiple courier companies were handled by one person. Secodly he did not send passport for visa stamping but his family was here and they lost their Pakistani origin card for which he sent the passport.

However you can send your passport to any of your friends here in Dubai and he can submit them using Aramex and can add return airway bill no. Did you receive reply from Canadian High Commission for your email?

I confirmed with another friend he told me that sending Pakistani PP from/to Pakistan is not allowed else its fine.

Regards
Khurram

I these inputs looks to be positive for me, I also checked with Aramex (in Canada) and they can also take Passport.

You are also correct, what I have get from different sources, that sending Pakistani PP from/to Pakistan is not allowed however allowed from other countries.

In fact to verify this I have gone through DHL site and look for prohibited items, then only in Pakistan sections Passport is mentioned as prohibited however in Canada & UAE nothing is mentioned. It’s good to go.

BUT, I sent query to ADVO, still not get any response from them, should I wait for few days or send the passports?????

Thanks for your valuable inputs.

aashamsi/kkurram1,

A problem can potentially arise at the time of return if the PPs are submitted through a friend in UAE as ADVO/Aramex may not be willing to handover the PPs to a person other than the applicant himself. I suggest you wait a few more days for further instructions from ADVO. If there is no reply from ADVO then you can think of sending some sort of an authorization letter to your friend to receive the passports back after visa stamping. I've seen a discussion on this topic from some Indian applicants based in US sending passports to New Delhi/Colombo visa offices. cheers,

If there is no issue to send through courier then I will prefer to send directly to Canadian Embassy, because again to send to someone is little risky (until I don’t have any other option).

yes, i sent my passports yesterday to ADVO via aramex courier from their Main branch on King Abdulaziz Road near Kingdom School, Riyadh. I placed a pre-paid return airway bill in the package so that ADVO can send the stamped passports back in a secure way.

Wow, you are in Saudi Arabia i.e. outside UAE (similar to my case) and able to send PP to UAE so I can also relate this to me as well :)

Yes, I sent my passports which according to tracking status have reached Dubai which shows that there is no problem in sending passports across border through courier otherwise ADVO would not ask you to do it. If you noted, this is the reason why for Pakistan-based applicants, the PPR process is handled differently by London VO. As you mentioned, you have spoken to aramex in canada and they are willing to ship your passport, so go ahead and follow the ADVO instructions by sending a return airwaybill with your PP/documents. Its all perfectly smooth and legal. cheers,

dear lawrence2007 under which PNP u applied I mean under which province either Manitoba or Q, S, ?

because I applied under MPNP and still there is no any update from ADVO whereas my ECAS is showing, Application received June 2012 and INPROCESS since May 2013 once ADVO asked to update IMM00000 form in June 2013 after that no update form them.................................?

Dear Khurram,

This is right time. I don't have any experience or know anyone in this field.

However previously I posted few tips for job searching in canada. Better to review it, it may provide you some guide for Job hunting.
